War & Heartbreak

$350.00

This piece is a first in a series on the war in Israel and Palestine.  The warm colors symbolize the intensity of the war and the bloodshed on both sides of the war.  The black lines represent the finality of death and the gunshots that have divided the communities.  The repeating pattern of the art symbolizes how this war has been cyclical and doesn’t show any signs of ending.  The texture in the piece symbolizes the richness of the cultures on both sides and how if we are going to heal we are going to have to feel each other’s pain and find respect of each other’s culture to heal our hearts.  The second piece in this series is called, “Heart Emerging.”
